After years of supporting beekeeping organisations in Ireland, many beekeepers have noticed that the existing engagement and training programs at a national level could benefit from improvement. A group of dedicated beekeepers established the Irish Bee Foundation in response to this need.

The Irish Bee Foundation CLG is officially registered and has secured member’s insurance. We aim to create a progressive training program recognised by Quality Qualifications Ireland (QQI), offering certifications accessible to all members. We strive to build a nationwide network of beekeeping excellence, supporting beekeepers from Introductory Beekeeping through to Third-Level Degrees, with practical tuition provided in Branch Apiaries.
